The Biomedical Engineering program is a truly unique and interdisciplinary degree, combining aspects of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. The program offers courses with a personal touch, thanks to our dedicated faculty, our low student-to-teacher ratio, and the close interaction between faculty and students. All full-time faculty members hold doctoral degrees and are prolific in funded research and publications. This M.S. program offers students two options: Non-Thesis Option and Thesis Option. The thesis option involves research with a faculty member in areas such as rehabilitation engineering and tissue engineering.
