The Integral Economic Development Management (IEDM) 1-year master's program is the first to develop and implement an integrated and dynamic framework of economic analysis that motivates more effective development interventions, fosters a more appropriate engagement of emerging new technologies and achieves more effective and sustainable outcomes. It designs interventions and develops innovative measures to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of interventions while teaching applied management and economics skills.

As a requirement of the program, all students must choose a geographical area of study and topic of research, and subsequently design a thorough evaluation of a particular program or policy’s impact. Through the applied research project, you take your classroom knowledge into the real world, evaluating the impact of an organization in a given city/country as well as development entities in and outside the United States with the approval and guidance of international development faculty.
