What makes Catholic University different than other colleges and universities?
Every time I speak to students on campus, I am so impressed by how involved Catholic University students are in community service and volunteering. There are numerous opportunities for our students to give back! https://service.catholic.edu/service-opportunities/index.html.
What drew you to Washington, D.C. and Catholic University?
I have worked in college admissions for nearly three decades. In that time, I have worked at several Catholic institutions. I joined Catholic University because I believe the commitment to service, student engagement, academic opportunities, and vibrant urban experience is unparalleled at other Catholic schools.
Advice to anyone who is applying?
I always encourage prospective students to take time writing their essay. This narrative is a wonderful opportunity for students to truly showcase who they are and what makes them tick. The essay certainly shows us a student's ability to create a cogent and well-written piece of writing, but more importantly, it provides the admission reader with a better understanding of the applicant as a whole.
