What drew you to Washington, D.C. and Catholic University?
I came to D.C. for the first time on move-in day at Catholic. To this day, I continue to feel the tourist emotions of awe as I drive into D.C. for my daily commute. I came to Catholic University as a Politics major, and I’m excited to stay as an admission counselor. My experience as a student, the feeling of belonging, and the community keep me at CUA to this day.
What is your favorite thing to do in D.C.?
The cliche answer is monumenting! Seeing the historical buildings and monuments remind me of the strength and perseverance of the US and the people residing within. Learning about US history through the Smithsonian is also one of my favorite things to do!
What is D.C.'s best kept secret?
Georgetown waterfront in the evening, before the sun set, is BEAUTIFUL. Add some DCG - District Chicken & Gyro and the night becomes unforgettable.
Where is your favorite place to dine in D.C.?
Le Diplomate for brunch, their assorted bread basket & JAM is the BEST and the closest I’ve been to finding good french goodies outside of France.
