Psychology

As a psychology major or minor, you will learn psychological theory and methodology and become familiar with a variety of content areas, including neuroscience, cognition, developmental, social, and clinical psychology. You will also explore the relevance of psychology to topical issues such as technology, media, politics, sports, relationships, and peace and conflict, and have the chance to participate in research with faculty and graduate students.

Psychological and Brain Sciences

Learning about the brain only makes our minds stronger. Our program provides a strong foundation in the cognitive and neurological bases of behavior. Along with a rigorous course load full of math, science, and natural science, our students also get exciting opportunities to conduct research at an expert level. In addition to internships that are available at major psychological institutions our students also get the opportunity to write and publish their own thesis.

Politics

Physics

The study of physics is an attempt to understand the physical universe in as fundamental a way as possible. As a physics major, you’ll examine the mathematical relationships that exist among the physical entities of the world, and, in particular, try to discover the general principles that govern the behavior of the macroscopic and microscopic universe.

Philosophy Pre-Law

As a philosophy pre-law major, you will build an excellent foundation for the critical thinking, logical argumentation, and clear reasoning required for the study of law. You will study the history of philosophy and engage in contemporary arguments about God, truth, nature, and the human person. Your coursework will place a special emphasis on philosophical topics pertinent to the study of law. A major in philosophy pre-law offers excellent preparation for graduate studies in other fields, e.g.
