Our aim at The Catholic University of America - Tucson is to offer complete support in assisting students in comprehending the expenses linked to their education and the available financial aid, streamlining the seemingly complex and time-consuming application process for a smoother experience.

Estimated Cost of Attendance

Our personalized Cost of Attendance* at our private college program, which boasts the lowest tuition in Arizona (on average, less than $10,000 per year), provides an estimate of each student's educational expenses for the enrollment period, serving as the college's projected total possible costs for the year.

Please reach out to our Admissions team so we can show you how tuition and pricing apply to your financial needs.

Students receive Financial Aid typically from the institution where they are taking the most credits (this will also serve as the home institution for aid distribution). Concurrent Student

  • While students are enrolled at both CatholicU and Pima Community College (PCC) in the same semester, financial aid is administered by Pima Community College. Enrollment at both schools is combined to ensure students receive the maximum amount of aid for which they are eligible.
  • When your FAFSA has been sent to PCC and you are enrolled in both institutions, complete the program consortium form to combine your enrollment at both schools. PCC will be the home institution and CatholicU the host institution
  • To ensure all aid requirements have been met and to see your aid awards, visit the financial aid tab in MyPima often.

CatholicU Only Student

  • Prior to the Junior year, students will transition to taking classes at CatholicU only. In the Junior and Senior year, federal student aid will be administered by CatholicU. For most students, all classes will be taken at CatholicU.
  • Once enrolled and all aid requirements have been met, financial aid awards can be viewed and accepted in Cardinal Students
  • The student is responsible for all payment of Catholic charges paid through Cardinal Pay.
  • To ensure all aid requirements have been met and to see your aid awards, visit the financial aid tab in Cardinal Students often.

What to Remember

When your award is finalized, aid will pay your PCC tuition, but it will not automatically pay CatholicU. Instead, if there is money remaining after your PCC tuition has been paid in full, you will receive the remaining aid amount as a refund. The student is responsible for all payment of CatholicU charges paid through Cardinal Pay.
