The Federal Work Study Grant is a need-based work program giving students in need of financial assistance the opportunity to earn money working part-time throughout the academic year.

Students must have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), meet the federal need requirements, and be enrolled in the university to be considered for work-study. The work-study amount will be based upon Expected Family Contribution (EFC), enrollment status and remaining need after all other sources of aid are considered. Hourly wage ranges between $7.00 and $12.50 per hour and undergraduate students receive paychecks on a semi-monthly basis.

All questions relating to job offerings, position availability, wages, and hours should be directed to the Center for Academic and Career Success by phone at (202)-319-5623 or visit Handshake, for an online listing of jobs.
