On behalf of Dr. Jennifer Paxton and the University Honors Program, the Office of Undergraduate Admission has the distinct pleasure of inviting you to Honors Evening, an event specific to those who have been admitted into the University Honors Program.

Honors Evening will begin with a Mock Lecture presented by Dr. Paxton. Dr. Paxton will present on the Norman invasion of England in 1066 led by Duke William II of Normandy (later known as William the Conqueror) which never should have succeeded. Learn how a combination of English dynastic disaster, Norman military prowess, and sheer good luck changed the course of history.

You will then take part in an Honors Program Overview designed to inform you about the many benefits and unique opportunities of being an Honors Student at CatholicU. During this session, you will hear from key members of the Honors Program community including faculty, current Honors students, and University administrators.

To conclude the event, we will host a dinner to celebrate your academic achievements as well as give you the opportunity to engage with current and prospective Honors Students.

Please note that students may bring a total of two guests in addition to themselves for this event. There is limited space available for this program, and we would like to give as many families as possible the opportunity to attend.
