Join our staff this August for a special online application workshop that is aimed towards helping you complete the best college application possible!
Hosted by the CatholicU Admission Counseling staff, we will cover five topics over the course of four days just in time for you to submit your application in the fall. These sessions are ideal for students who are beginning their college search process or for students ready to begin working on their application.
These sessions will last for one hour and we encourage you to attend multiple sessions during the week.

Join our staff to get a general overview of all things related to the college application process! Learn about what The Common Application is, what it looks like, and how you can make your application as strong as possible. As a part of this virtual session, we will explain how to apply and give a behind-the-scenes look at what colleges may be looking at when they are reviewing your application.
Join our admission staff to have an in-depth approach and understanding of how college applications are reviewed- by evaluating three applications yourself. In this hour-long workshop, we will provide you with three sample applications for a fictitious school and discuss both the qualitative and quantitative qualities that each application has. At the end of the workshop, you’ll decide which student you would like to admit, and have the tools needed to make this decision. Both students and parents are welcome to attend. Documents will be provided during the session.
This workshop will focus on how you can prepare for a strong college interview. Hear directly from college admission officers that run interviews. We will discuss how to prepare for the interview, what questions to ask, and give advice for follow-up after the interview. In addition, we will also discuss how to utilize your college admission representative as a resource throughout your college search and application process.
A visit to campus can be one of the best resources that you’ll have as you go through your college search process. In this session, we will discuss how to make the most of your campus visit, what questions to ask on tour and other factors to consider as you start to think about visiting different college campuses. We will also discuss the different opportunities that you can take advantage of throughout the year to connect with your admission counselor.
